Putnam Museum, Davenport, IA

Join us for a wonderful day at the Putnam Museum. Highlights include the exhibit, "Diana, A Celebration"; admission to the museum's other exhibits; lunch/high tea; a program presented by the Putnam's Curator of History and Anthropology on women's fashion over the last 150 years and what fashion reveals about women's changing roles in society; and the movie, "Flight of the Butterflies" in 3D, tracing the remarkable Monarch butterfly migration, shown on the museum's giant screen.

"Diana, A Celebration" chronicles the life and work of Diana, Princess of Wales. On loan from the Spencer family's estate, the exhibition contains Princess Diana's royal wedding gown, designer dresses, family heirlooms, two diamond tiaras, priceless family jewels, personal mementoes, paintings, and rare home movies and photos. This exhibit will make its last stop in the Midwest before it retires in 2014, so don't miss it!

Price for this fun day is only $85 and includes the Diana exhibit and museum admission, lunch, movie, program on fashion, transportation, and driver's gratuity. A $25 deposit is due at registration, with balance due September 30.
