Robert J. Donovan, CTFA
Executive Vice President
Bob graduated from Loras College and has been with American Trust for over 25 years. As Executive Vice President, he oversees the management of the Financial Management Group, which includes Personal Wealth Management, Retirement Planning, Investment Management.
Bob is a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA), a Certified Financial Services Counselor and a graduate of the National Graduate Trust School. Bob is also a past president of the Iowa Trust Association.

Chris M. Even, JD, CFP, CTFA
Vice President and Trust Officer
Chris Even is Vice President, Wealth Management. She is responsible for the management of the Wealth Management Department which provides trust administration for all accounts, managed recordkeeping of assets, estate planning review of both personal and business plans, financial management advice, bill-paying services, and estate administration during the probate process.
Chris joined American Trust in 1994. Prior to joining the bank, she was a practicing attorney in southwest Wisconsin. Ms. Even is a Certified Financial Planner Licensee and a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor. She holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Nebraska College of Law, Lincoln, Nebraska, and a bachelor of arts degree from Metropolitan State College, Denver, Colorado. Active in her field and the tri-state area, Chris is on the executive board of the Dubuque County Bar Association and the Probate & Trust Section of the Iowa State Bar Association. And is a past board member of the Iowa Trust Association.
She is an active volunteer for the Girl Scouts of Eastern Iowa & Western Illinois and the Dubuque Community School District. She routinely speaks on "money matters" to various student groups throughout the community.

Carla Olson, JD
Second Vice President/Trust Officer
Carla Olson is Second Vice President and Trust Officer in the Wealth Management Division. Carla is primarily responsible for trust administration, managed recordkeeping of assets, and estate planning review.
Prior to joining the bank in 2010, she practiced law in southwestern Minnesota where she was responsible for wills, trusts, and estate administration, including fiduciary income and estate tax return preparation and filing.
A graduate of Drake University Law School in Des Moines, Iowa, Carla was a research assistant for renowned Professor Martin Begleiter, and interned for the Honorable Associate Judge Ruth Klotz at Polk County Court. Carla has served as Acting Secretary for the Iowa Bar Association Probate and Trust Section Council since 2007.

Lynne A. Kirchhoff, CTFA
Vice President/Trust Officer
Lynne Kirchhoff is a Trust Officer primarily responsible for the administration of all estate and probate related accounts, including the settlement and distribution of all trusts. She also provides trust administration, managed recordkeeping of assets, bill-paying services, and is knowledgeable in all aspects associated with personal, fiduciary and estate tax matters.
Lynne joined American Trust in 1995 as a paralegal in the Trust Department. Prior to joining the bank, she worked for various local law firms as a legal assistant for 12 years. She has completed her Associates of Arts Degree in Business and is a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor with combined legal experience of over 20 years. Lynne is also a graduate of the National Graduate Trust School.

Mark A. Stevens, CFA
Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer
Mark is responsible for coordinating all trust investment activity including managing client portfolios, developing investment strategies, and managing the American Trust internal equity funds.
Prior to American Trust, Mark ran the investment area for banks in Waterloo, IA and Kansas City, managing fixed income, equity, and balanced portfolios for endowments, foundations, qualified plans, and high net-worth individuals.
Mark holds a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa. He has obtained the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designations. Mark is a member of the Association of Investment Management & Research and the Kansas City Society for Financial Analysts.

Eugene E. Hayertz
Vice President
A graduate of St. Mary's University of Minnesota and the Wisconsin Graduate School of Banking, Gene has 31 years of fixed income experience since he began with American Trust in 1971. Gene is responsible for the bank and trust fixed income portfolios as well as managing the American Trust internal bond funds.
Gene chairs the bank's Asset-Liability and Investment Committee. Gene is also a member of several organizations including Stonehill Care Center where he sits on the finance committee.

Cathleen M. Colgan

Cathleen M. Colgan is Managing Director, Vice President and Trust Officer of American Trust California, a West Coast division of American Trust. As Managing Director, Cathleen is responsible for the management of that division, including trust administration, managed recordkeeping of assets, estate planning review for both personal and business plans, financial management advise, bill-paying services, and estate administration during the probate process.
Cathleen joined American Trust California in 2004, bringing with her more than 24 years of trust experience in the Bay area. Prior to joining American Trust, she was Vice President and Senior Trust Officer for Greater Bay Trust Company, and worked in similar capacities at Comerica Bank and Wells Fargo. She completed the Certified Financial Planning Program at the College for Financial Planning in Denver, CO, and Trust Administration Levels I, II, and III at the Cannon Financial Institute. Cathleen has successfully completed numerous California Continuing Education of the Bar courses, seminars, and workshops. She is a member of the Peninsula Estate Planning Council, Northern California Trust Officers Association, and a past board member of the Palo Alto Chapter of the American Red Cross.

Catherine A. Brucker

Catherine A. Brucker is Vice President and Trust Officer of American Trust California, a West Coast division of American Trust. Catherine is responsible for administration of personal trust accounts including living trusts, testamentary trust, cash management accounts, and agency accounts. She is also responsible for reviewing and accepting escrow accounts.
Catherine joined American Trust California in 2007, bringing with her 24 years banking and trust experience. Prior to joining American Trust, she was Vice President and Trust Officer for Greater Bay Trust Company, and worked in various capacities at Wells Fargo Bank. Catherine earned her Cannon Trust School Certificate in 2004 from the Cannon Financial Institute.

Jeremy L. Blair, CFA
Vice President & Portfolio Manager
Jeremy is responsible for managing client portfolios, developing and implementing investment strategies, performing investment analysis, and co-managing the American Trust internal equity funds.
Jeremy holds a MBA and Bachelors degree in Finance from North Central College, Naperville, IL. Jeremy has obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Madison.
Prior to American Trust, Jeremy was a Vice President and Portfolio Manager for a regional bank managing large cap and mid cap funds, managing client portfolios and performing investment analysis. Before that, Jeremy was a Portfolio Manager and Investment Analyst with a large investment brokerage firm and an insurance company.
