Available Positions:

Director of Professional Development

American Trust has an opening for a Director of Professional Development who will be responsible for the overall professional development program and curriculum at all American Trust locations. This position will be responsible for designing, facilitating, and coordinating all training programs within the bank.


Preferred candidates will have a bachelor's degree along with at least 3-5 years of training experience. Preference will be given to candidates with banking experience and sales and service experience. This position will offer a lot of autonomy and the ability for someone to use their creative skills in a professional environment.


Assistant Controller

This position will be responsible for assisting the affiliate banks' accounting and reporting functions. They will prepare monthly financial reports, balance and maintain general ledger accounts, assist in reconciling the investment portfolio and will be responsible for various other accounting tasks. Preferred candidates will have an accounting degree with 5 years of experience, preferably in banking. A CPA is desired. This position will involve up to 30% out of state travel.


Director of Finance

This position will be responsible for managing the ALCO process at American Trust and affiliate banks, including all ALCO reporting and investment policies. Preferred candidates will have an accounting or finance degree with 5 years of experience, preferably in banking. They should also have experience managing the ALCO process at a community bank. Experience with Compass and ALCO systems preferred. This position will involve up to 15% out of state travel.


Trust Securities Specialist

American Trust & Savings Bank has an opening for a Trust Securities Specialist. Position is responsible for the processing/settlement of a variety of securities, including but not limited to; stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and miscellaneous assets. Also, balances asset position holdings and performs cash management functions. Ideal candidate will have strong financial and analytical skills and be detail oriented.


Part-Time Teller

American Trust & Savings Bank has an opening for a part-time Teller at their Kennedy Road office. Schedule consists of approximately 25 hours per week including every third Saturday morning. Applicant must possess cash handling experience, excellent customer service skills, and personal computer skills.
