Hello Everyone!

I hope you had a terrific summer and were able to enjoy spending time with family and friends. As you are reading this, my daughter Kathy and I are in England visiting family and celebrating my favorite Aunt’s 90th birthday. Unbelievable as it is, this will be Kathy’s first visit since she was a toddler. I am so looking forward to showing her where I grew up and having her meet lots of relatives she has only heard about and seen in photos!

AmeriClub has been enjoying a good summer. Our visit to Slovenia and Croatia was fabulous and we saw spectacular scenery. I am constantly awed by how many beautiful places there are in the world and how fortunate I am to get to see them with such super people.

I continue to be optimistic the dollar will get stronger and oil prices will stabilize, so we can continue to offer you these wonderful travel opportunities at excellent value. Fuel surcharges have become a regular occurrence on just about all aspects of travel and although we regret having to pass these along, it’s the only solution at this time to the skyrocketing price of fuel. We really do appreciate your understanding when this occurs.

2009 is shaping up to be another exciting year for us. Egypt sold out in record time, and our cruise along Mexico’s Riviera and the Sea of Cortez is doing well. I am very excited about our planned visit to Sicily and also exploring Alaska on the 32 passenger Island Spirit. Don’t forget to RSVP to attend the previews of both of these great destinations.

We are offering another set of classes on Internet Banking, which was very well received a few months ago. It is quick, easy and safe, plus it is free! Based on response we will add classes if necessary.

I'll have to report back on our fishing trip next issue. Having never been fishing, it promises to be quite an adventure for me personally. I hope I can get someone else to put the worm on the hook!
